Times & Prices (per day)
8.00am - 6.30pm
Standard: £22.50
Sibling: £22.00

A typical day at Holiday Hedgehogs:

8.00am Open the doors, breakfast is served, toast, a wide selection of cereal, fresh organic fruit, fresh juice and muffins.

9.00am Activities begin, role play area, construction toys, computers with internet access, Playstation 2, Xbox, fantastic arts and crafts, snooker table, air hockey, go karts and much more.

10.00am All our children are offered the choice of going swimming. This takes place at Bishop's Stortford college where we have sole use of both their pools and the college supply life guards. A member of Holiday Hedgehogs staff will go into each pool with the children and another member of staff will be on the pool side escorting children to the toilet if needed. This is, as I said, optional and any child not wanting to go will stay back at the club where activities will carry on.

12.00pm Everyone is back together and we wash up and get ready, then go down to our tea room for lunch. Every child will need to bring their own packed lunch. We operate a very strict no nut policy, so we ask you to be very aware of making sure that no child has any nut products in their lunch box. After lunch the children are taken outside to run off some energy.

1.00pm Afternoon activities commence, sometimes in the afternoon we may go to the cinema, go to the park, Doody the clown will visit, the reptile man will come and bring some interesting friends with him, bowling, have bouncy castles and many more outings or visitors.

4.50pm We clear up and wash up to get ready for tea. This could be sandwiches or a hot option. The children are served many things and a menu will be on display of that evening's choice on the board in our reception in the morning for you to see. The children are always offered organic fruit, pineapple, mango, kumquat, paw paw, apples, oranges, kiwi and bananas, if the child has fruit they may have a piece of cake. We will accommodate any food intolerences, vegetarians and the fussy eater. It is always helpful to us if you could inform a member of staff in the morning if your child will not be staying for tea as this helps with our planning.

5.30pm Activities continue until we close at 6.30pm.

Some of our activities listed above are at an extra cost to you, we will send out a programme of activities a couple of weeks before the holiday and you are then asked to fill the form in of what your child would like to take part in and a cheque is required in full for these activities.
